BY CAR

From the north, take the A90 to Fordoun. After turning off the A90 to Fordoun, turn first left to cross the little bridge (there are lights). After the bridge follow this road till it meets the B966. Take a left onto the B966. 

You’ll pass two turn offs on the right to Auchenblae and a dog kennels, called Laurney. Shortly after the kennels and just before Coullie Stays driveway, you’ll see a turn off to Laurencekirk on the left, then a signed bump in the road. The driveway for the cottage is sharp right after the bump in the road. As you head up the drive you will see Mid Coullie over and up on the left, with one big tree. Turn first left to reach the cottage.

 

From the south, take the A90 to Laurencekirk, head along the Fordoun Road and take a left at the B966. The driveway is sharp right after the signed bump in the road. You will see some wheelie bins and an old sign for ‘Upper Coullie’.

As you head up the drive you will see Mid Coullie over and up on the left, with one big tree. Turn first left to reach the cottage.

BY TRAIN

The nearest station to Coullie Stays is Laurencekirk. From the station its about a 5 minute drive or a 20 min cycle.
