Magical Christmas stay, such a beautiful home, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. 

The kitchen has everything you can think of, including a fantastic coffee machine; and in the open space there are so many books, games and tv channels!

If you are more of an outdoor person then you will love the walks in the woods behind the property and the beach isn’t too far away. 

So peaceful and extremely grateful to have spent Christmas here.

Absolutely top class accommodation. A tastefully done cottage with plenty of space, beautiful views, tranquillity and everything needed for a break at any time of year - cosy in the winter and a lovely outdoor space for warmer days. Every room has had real thought gone into it which goes way beyond the usual flat pack furnishings found in your average rental property.

It doesn't take too long to get to the towns and beaches on the east coast (obviously car required) however it's such a nice cottage that you could just spend the whole day there.

A big bonus for us was the den in the mezzanine - full of games, toys and beanbags which delighted our 5yr old when he found it. It's so great for kids to have their own space, but even greater for the adults!

Would definitely recommend Mid-coullie for anyone looking for a touch of elegance in the countryside.

My family & I had the most wonderful few days at the cottage. I booked it with the idea we’d go away and just ‘be’ & that’s exactly what we got. Super cozy, very comfortable & so, so peaceful. 

The games room with all the board games, toys and books went down an absolute treat with our two boys. 

Our boys really loved the spacious garden, especially the tree swing. We spent a lot of time in the garden. My favourite thing to do was make a coffee & sit outside first thing in the morning & breath in the country air. 

We also managed a trip to St Cyrus beach finished off with fish & chips. Just perfect!
